A quick reference for our neighbors — who to call in an emergency, the nearest hospital, how to set up utilities, and where we vote. One thing worth knowing up front: although our mailing address says Grand Blanc, Woodfield Ridge is physically in Holly Township, in northern Oakland County. That matters for 911, taxes, and voting, so it's noted throughout below.

📞 What to Tell 911
When you call 911, stay calm and be ready to say:
- Your full street address and unit number on Strathmore Ct.
- That you are in Holly Township, Oakland County (not Grand Blanc / Genesee) — this helps them send the right responders.
- The nearest cross street or landmark if asked.
- What is happening — fire, medical, or police — and whether anyone is hurt or in danger.
- Stay on the line. Don't hang up until the dispatcher tells you to; they may give you instructions while help is on the way.
💡 Because our mail comes through the Grand Blanc post office, it's easy to assume we're in Grand Blanc — but our emergency services are dispatched through Holly Township and Oakland County. Saying so clearly can save time.

- Charter Township of Grand Blanc — (810) 424‑2600. Call to start or stop service or with billing questions. (Water/sewer is billed to you directly, not through your dues.)
- Electricity & natural gas
- Consumers Energy — 1‑800‑477‑5050 to start service. (Check a current bill to confirm your provider.)
- Trash & recycling

🗳 Local Government & Voting
Woodfield Ridge is in Holly Township, Oakland County. Grand Blanc is only our mailing address — our local government, property taxes, and elections all run through Oakland County and Holly Township.
